    Parking

    Free parking is available on the south side of the Justice Center. Do not park in the parking lot north of the Justice Center marked County Employee Parking Only.

    Public Transportation

    MTA stops at Safeway about half a block from the court. See their website for route and schedule information at mendocinotransit.org.

    Access for the Disabled

    The building and courtroom are wheelchair accessible. Accessible restrooms are inside lobby. Questions regarding access should be directed to the ADA Access Coordinator at (707)964-3192.

    Security Screening

    All persons and items entering the courthouse are subject to security screening. Weapons, alcohol, and drugs or weapons of any kind are prohibited and may be confiscated and not returned. You may be given the option to return legal, disallowed items to a safe place (e.g., car, office) before entering the courthouse.

    Parking

    1-1/2, 2, and 5 hour free parking is available on the streets around the courthouse. Limited long-term parking, metered and free, is available in public parking lots at West Perkins and Oak Street and at Main and Standley Streets.

    Summoned jurors can use their parking pass for long term parking in 2 and 5 hour parking areas. Please refer to the instructions printed on the parking pass.

    MTA route 9 stops at a marked bus stop west of the courthouse at the intersection of West Perkins and North School Streets.

    Access for the Disabled

    The Perkins Street entrance is wheelchair accessible.  Accessible restrooms are located on the 3rd and 5th floors.

    The Court authorizes any defendant, litigant, witness, attorney, or other party to a case that has a mobility issue (e.g., using a wheelchair, cane, or walker, etc.) to appear remotely for his or her proceeding by notifying the court of such remote appearance.

    The Court must be notified of remote appearances in advance of the hearing date.  Parties with mobility issues shall notify Court Administration in Room 303 at the Ukiah Courthouse by phone at (707) 468-3498 or by email at court.administration@mendocino.courts.ca.gov no later than noon two (2) business days prior to the hearing.  The requesting party must provide an email address and/or cell phone number.
